Refund Policy
Last updated 11 August 2026
Two things protect you from paying for something that turns out not to fit: a free trial before you are charged, and a refund window after.
The 14 day free trial
Every paid plan starts with a 14 day free trial. You are not charged during it. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing at all. We will remind you by email before the trial converts, so the first charge is never a surprise.
The 15 day refund
If you are charged and change your mind, you have 15 days from the charge to ask for a refund. No questions asked. You do not need to explain, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
This applies to:
- your first payment after a trial converts
- any renewal, monthly or annual, within 15 days of that renewal charge
- an upgrade charge, refunded as the difference you paid
How to ask
Email privacy@wabutton.app from the address on the account, and say you want a refund. That is the whole process. We aim to reply within one business day and to issue the refund within five.
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. How long your bank takes after that is up to them, usually 5 to 10 business days.
What happens to your account
When we refund a period, we close the paid subscription for it. You can either move to the free plan and keep one widget running, or close the account entirely, whichever you prefer. Tell us which when you write.
Export your leads before you go. The dashboard exports them to CSV. Once the account is closed, we delete the data as described in the Privacy Policy.
The limits
We would rather state these plainly than bury them.
- After 15 days, we do not refund the current period. You can cancel at any time and you will not be charged again, and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.
- One refund per account per 12 months. The policy exists so you can try the product without risk, not as a way to use it for free each month.
- No refunds where an account was terminated for breaching our Terms of Service.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days. This policy sits on top of that right and does not replace it. Where the two differ, whichever gives you more takes precedence.
