    Open your Shopify Theme Code Editor

    From your Shopify Admin dashboard, go to Online Store -> Themes. Click the three dots (...) menu next to your live theme and select "Edit code".

    Locate theme.liquid

    In the left file navigator under Layout, click on theme.liquid. Scroll down to the very bottom of the file.

    Consiglio: You can use Ctrl+F or Cmd+F to quickly find the closing </body> tag.

    Paste your unique WAButton script snippet immediately before the closing </body> tag.

    Consiglio: Placing the script right before </body> ensures your store content renders without delay.

    Save and verify live preview

    Click Save in the top right. Visit your live Shopify storefront to verify your WhatsApp button is active.
