Installation pas à pas pour OpenCart

Suivez ces étapes pour intégrer WAButton sur votre site OpenCart. Pas de développement complexe ni de frais d'app.

    Install an HTML Content module

    In OpenCart admin go to Extensions → Extensions, set the type to Modules, find HTML Content, click Install, then click the plus icon to add a new instance.

    Conseil : HTML Content is a multi-instance module. Name this instance WAButton so you can find it later in layouts.

    Paste in source view, then save

    Open the module. Leave the heading empty. Click the source / HTML button (</>) in Description, paste the snippet, click </> again so the editor keeps the script tags, set Status to Enabled, and Save.

    Conseil : If you paste in the visual editor, OpenCart's CKEditor strips <script>. Always toggle source view before and after pasting.

    Assign it to every layout you use

    Go to Design → Layouts. Edit Home, Default, Product, Category, and any other layout your store uses. Add the WAButton HTML Content module to Content Bottom on each, then Save.

    Conseil : Assigning only to Home hides the button on product and category pages. Content Bottom is the core position that every default layout prints.

OpenCart's HTML Content module is built in. You do not need a paid 'add JS to pages' extension.

Theme updates do not wipe it

A module assigned in Design → Layouts survives theme switches. Editing footer.twig does not.

Assign the same module to Home, Default, Product, and Category so the button is not Home-only.

Questions fréquentes

The script disappeared after I saved the module. Why?

The visual editor strips <script>. Edit the module again, click the source / HTML (</>) button, paste, click </> a second time, then Save.

Can I paste into footer.twig instead?

Yes, via Design → Theme Editor → your theme → common → footer.twig, just before the closing markup. Theme updates and theme switches will wipe that edit. The HTML Content module is the safer path.
