    Access Theme Footer Template or Custom Code Module

    In your PrestaShop files, open themes/your-theme/templates/_partials/footer.tpl, or navigate to your Custom Code / HTML module in the PrestaShop Back Office.

    Conseil : Always clear PrestaShop Smarty cache after modifying theme template files.

    Add Code with Smarty Literal Tags

    If adding directly to a .tpl file, wrap the script inside {literal}...{/literal} tags so the Smarty template engine does not parse the JavaScript syntax.

    Conseil : Using {literal} tags prevents PrestaShop Smarty syntax error 500 crashes.

    Clear PrestaShop Cache

    In your PrestaShop Back Office, go to Advanced Parameters -> Performance. Click 'Clear cache' in the top right to make the WhatsApp button live.
