Step-by-step installation for Wix

Follow these steps to add your WAButton installation code to your Wix website.

    Go to Wix Custom Code Settings

    In your Wix dashboard, go to Settings -> Custom Code (under the Advanced section).

    Pro tip: Ensure your Wix site has a connected custom domain, which unlocks custom code management.

    Add Custom Code

    Click "+ Add Custom Code". Paste your WAButton embed snippet into the text area.

    Pro tip: Give the snippet a clear name like 'WAButton Chat Widget' for easy tracking.

    Configure Placement

    Under "Place Code in", select "Body - end". Set "Apply to" to "All pages". Click Apply.

    Pro tip: Selecting 'Body - end' places the script after your page content, and its async attribute keeps it from blocking first paint.
