How big should I print it?

We show the minimum square at 300 dpi for the code you have actually built. Print smaller than that and the individual modules fall below what a phone camera resolves at arm's length. If the number looks impractical, switch to the chat-link mode or remove a field.

Why is my name required?

The vCard standard requires exactly one property, the formatted name. Everything else is optional. We never guess a first and last name by splitting what you typed, because that mangles most of the world's naming conventions.
